{"id":1483,"date":"2010-06-15T10:46:56","date_gmt":"2010-06-15T15:46:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mikeconley.ca\/blog\/?p=1483"},"modified":"2023-12-20T16:25:16","modified_gmt":"2023-12-20T21:25:16","slug":"my-poland-journal-index","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mikeconley.ca\/blog\/2010\/06\/15\/my-poland-journal-index\/","title":{"rendered":"My Poland Journal: Index"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today is June 15th.<\/p>\n<p>Exactly 1 year ago today, I left on an airplane with the rest of my drama class on a 15 day trip to Poland.\u00a0 We saw the country, and we saw the theatre.<\/p>\n<p>I took photos and wrote notes the entire time.<\/p>\n<p>Over the course of the year, I&#8217;ve sporadically been putting those notes and photos online.\u00a0 I find it appropriate, if not entirely coincidental, that my last entry should be published exactly one year from the day of our departure.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll notice in my entries that I switch sporadically between past-tense and present-tense.\u00a0 This is because half of the time, I&#8217;m quoting directly from my journal, and the other half, I&#8217;m quoting from memory.\u00a0 I know that&#8217;s a writing faux pas, but I&#8217;m not planning on fixing it.
